Nick Wilson

Nick Wilson is a painter and artist from New York City. He studied art at Yale University and the Yale Norfolk Summer School of Art. He was the inaugural Don Bachardy Fellow at the Royal Drawing School in London, and was recently included in the Downtown Painting exhibition at Peter Freeman Inc., curated by Alex Katz.

His paintings explore issues of modern life through the use of iconic imagery, symbolism and allegory. His project for Instinct #8 is a meditation on Berlin as a pastoral idyll, and how the city’s parks and green spaces undergird its spirit of sexual and artistic freedom.
