Born on the Romney Marsh, on Englands South-East Coastline, Russell trained at Londons Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance, completing their Batchelor of Arts Programme in Dance Theatre in 2005. Since then Russell has predominantly worked as a commercial prop and costume maker, producing work for music videos, magazine editorial, opera and museums alike. Instinct#2 saw Russell's initiation into showing work as an exhibiting artist.

 

 

 

Russell has been invited to show work again alongside fellow Instinct#2 artist Rudi Bleys.
